So I just moved here from Chicago and I had a taste for deep dish pizza. I guess they call this \Chicago style\ instead of deep dish because they know it isn't actually deep dish. I am not sure where in Chicago this style is, but I've never had it. Another reviewer pointed this out and they were exactly right. This isn't deep dish, it's regular pan pizza with tomato sauce. I didn't like it, but I am sure this pizza is considered good for the area. I am really just leaving this review for people like me who want real deep dish and are hoping to get it from here. You won't. But if you just want pizza, I bet it's fine for that.

This pie was actually enjoyable! We just had a subpar experience at another establishment and still wanted to enjoy a good pizza so we gave Cappy's a try. The pie seemed to have been put together generously and it was very tasty!
Been looking for a great pizza place out here for a while and this is it! Their pizza is the BEST I have had in Tampa area! I would recommend it any day. The salads are also HUGE. The only issue I have with them is that they are a pizza place that doesn't do delivery. Not even door dash. Hoping they add this feature on and I will be eating here much more often!
The crust on this pizza is to die for! I love the deep dish but other pizzas I throw away the crust. This one I ate and wanted more! It's really hand tossed!
This place is just amazing. Seriously. I've had good pizza before (in previous reviews) and this is easily the best. Price for a large pizza and beer wasnt bad at all. Arrived at exactly 5 on a week day and they filled up quick. Highly recommend.
