I have been to several of salt lake county's library's. Each library has it's own charm. However, Riverton library takes the cake. They are a hidden gem. I love the small size which makes it simple to find books. The workers are so cheerful and kind. And everything is tidy and neat. I drive out of my way and pass two library's to go to this one.

The staff here were just wonderful. They helped me locate the book I needed and reserve it. They have all sorts of amazing activities for the kiddoes too.
This library has been handling the pandemic so well! The take home craft kits have been a hit in my family. I am so thankfully they are actually enforcing their mask policy to keep everyone safe. I can't tell you how annoyed I get when people have their mask under their nose or down around their chin at the grocery store or other places. I feel safe bringing my family here.
The librarians are friendly and helpful. Good choices for a county library.
I'm a big fan of libraries and reading in general. The Riverton Library is clean and well maintained. The staff is pleasant and helpful. They even had quiet educational puzzle games for my kids to play with while I looked for them a kids book. I love the ability to reserve a book online and have it delivered to your local library.
I appreciate that the library and staff are really trying to create a safe place amidst COVID with enforcing mask use, providing the option to hold books to make quicker visits possible, keeping books isolated for a few days and the take home crafts which have been a sanity saver. My only wish is that they opened earlier so we could get a visit in before nap time.
Great staff. Always helpful. Good selection of materials. It's clean, safe and quiet.
Finally back to the library after the COVID library closures. You know, since March of 2020 ZERO, count them ZERO, employees of any establishment told me to adjust my mask because it was not up their standards. Yet, this Library troll of a woman rudely and impatiently does just that. No please, no thank you, no kindness, and most importantly of all NO, “Is there something I can help you find?” There is a reason why you are a librarian. Luck!
