We have relied on Velocity Computer Tech to help us with all our computer needs. We have been very pleased with their prompt service and they have explained things to us, "in a simple to understand manner." They are patient and give us multiple options based on the concern. We would highly recommend them.
This company has gone completely downhill. They are utterly disorganized and unprofessional. The first time I brought my laptop in to them to get my hard drive replaced, I had no problems. I got a 1TB hard drive and got Windows 10 installed on it. A mere seven months later when that new hard drive failed, I brought the laptop back in. I was told they had changed ownership and no longer had the paperwork for the warranty on that hard drive, so they weren't able to replace it directly from the manufacturer. They offered me a 500GB hard drive if I paid the labor costs to install it, and then said they would reinstall my OS as well. I agreed to it. When I got home, they had installed Windows 7 rather than 10 (which is what I had before). So after all that time and money, my laptop was functional, but the upgrades I had paid extra for were gone (as well as all of the programs and documents they failed to recover). I should have demanded my money back. I will not be returning to this business again.
*****Highly recommended. Is your computer old or new and need repair? Velocity can fix it without putting a dent in your wallet. I have been here two different times in the last 4 years on 2 different computers. Both computers were fixed in a timely manner, run better than when I brought them in and the cost was cheaper than other repair places quotes.
Used to be our go to techs anytime something went wrong with any one of our 6 computers. Not since they've raised their rates to 130/hr with 2 hour minimum for even the simplest of repairs! Ridiculous pricing. You're not Bill Gates for crying out loud! Way to price yourselves out of customers! Pathetic self indulgent attitudes soured a long time relationship. Good luck to you, you're going to need it now.
