I went to Taft from 07-11 and at the time Taft was a good school but still had multiple problems as a school. Also the school is wide open to an active shooter if you are concerned about that. Other than that,, big field and playground for your kids.

TERRIBLE SCHOOL! thank goodness I had left like seriously it says this school is "bully free" , but I have proof that it is NOT. For example ME. The only reason why I left is because of education and bullying. Like, FAKE ADVERTISING PEOPLE!! I HAVE EXPERIENCE BECAUSE I USED TO GO HERE. NEVER PUT YOUR CHILD HERE. TERRIBLE SCHOOL BEWARE. This is why it is ranked 4 out of 10. Go to STEM instead. Ranked 9 out of 10 and it is actually BULLY free unlike this school. I was a student here and I do not recomend this school.
Pretty good school,new principal last principal was horrible I don't know how she became principal. Best teacher Mrs. Grace 3ed grade teacher goes the extra mile for your student.
All three of my kids are or have been at this school since kindergarten. This is a great school with a great staff.
I thought transferring my son to this school would be good, but I'm very dissapointed. He has been there 3 years and this is his last year there! I'm extremely disappointed with principal Rebecca Brown. I called her more than 3 times and left her messages to inquire about changing my son to another class because I am not fond of my sons current teacher and not once has she returned ANY of my calls. Very unprofessional and I will Now be going to the district because I am very upset! My son's current teacher is a very grumpy older lady who not once has let my mom or myself help put in the class or go on field trips. Every year I have helped out in my son's class. I can't wait for the school year to end and to get my son out of there!

I love taft it is the best school ever i have been going there since kinder i have to give thx to all mt teachers especially MRS.ESHELMAN SHE IS THE BEST 5TH GRADE TEACHER EVER THX TO HER I AM GOING TO 6TH GRADE by the way im Dayana
