Not thrilled they sub-contracted the move to another company (went with Starving Student Movers since they were local and a team from Orange County drove out to my office in Riverside County). I was hoping that a 4 office move across the parking lot would be done in a few hours but I guess when you pay someone hourly they are going to milk it. Thought 3 hours and ended up being almost 7 hours! Not only hit my wallet it also significantly impacted my office move as I couldn't prepare to open the next day as planned. They got the job done which is why it got 2 stars. Although I feel like I should give those stars to the actual company that did the job.

Great moving service. Our movers were friendly, polite, and very professional. Took great care of my belongings, and even helped unpack/set up some of the bigger/heavier items. TJ and Joey were simply amazing.-thanks guys!

My daughter called starving student after getting a lower bid then a major moving company online. They told her it would be 2600 for 2000 pounds to move her to Utah. If it was 4000 pounds it would be 2800. So he thought OK double the items was only 600 more. When the movers showed up they loaded their truck and said this is going to cost you 6000 because we're not doing by weight we decided to do it by volume. Even though the contract said 2800 for 4000 pounds. They had no reason to triple their bed. She told them everything that she was going to move accurately. The representative would call her back. She told the movers had to put the stuff back in the house. They said fine but you have to pay 2000 for our time and trouble today. For three movers for six hours. She said she was going to pay they said they would not unload the truck. She called the police. All of a sudden the said OK will do it for 400. She said fine. Then they started unloading and the started unwrapping all the stuff which is a waste of time plus going to cost my daughter more money to have it wrapped by somebody else. The cops got them to stop. She said she'd pay for any of their boxes they use. She was crying. Her husband had already moved to Utah. She had a new baby and the new owners were moving in the next day. I called the management to ask on what basis they jumped it up. I'm a CPA They called her and said they'd giver her a 20% discount but the rate went up 600. And the truck driver said to store her stuff would be 1,300 a month!!! Usually it's 300. What a rip off scam company. I found Shannon at Budget Van Lines who seemed legit, got an emergency driver to pick up in 2 days for 3,300. If she's a scammer I'll write her up.
