Who could know you can't even have some building material, personal use cars which are fine just older and chairs on your own deck? Idyllwild has far too many 2nd home & obnoxious who think their 200K home is worth 400k and think it must be us. Same neighbors spray noxious/toxic pesticides on every living thing. including my side of fence. I'm sure they have total sterility in their primary home Sand Diego condo and wish to replicate. Code enforcement will scan until they find something even if it is a stray pine needle for their revenue-generating machine.

No one knows what they’re doing there. It’s sad and disappointing that my tax dollars pay for their wages. I completed an online submission and when I called to follow up I was told by an employee they don’t even check those. I requested the officer assigned to my case return my phone call and he left a sorry excuse as to why he hasn’t tended to my concern. No wonder the communities look the way they do - because these employees do absolutely nothing. Per his words, he said, “I’ll see if I can squeeze it in”. Officer Cruz is lazy.

Riverside county Code Enforcement is dysfunctional. They signed themselves up for authority over many aspects and issues of our lives in the County with no ability to enforce anything. They love to give granny a violation for her fence being 2 inches too tall but are scared to death of confronting pot growers who are making our property values plummet. We filed 3 violations in the last 2 years. No action and no contact. Time for the Board of Supes to fire people. They are NOT serving the voting, tax paying property owners.
