Powell and Assoc was recommended by a contractor. I'm just a homeowner with a covered patio (roof) project, small potatoes here. They quoted me 3000. I said the fee is no problem but I need a firm that will help me with design options for my project and will spend some time with my questions. I was assured they would be great at providing me multiple design options and suggestions on what would work best for my space. Nothing could be further than the truth. I provided a simple drawing a friend of ours did and they came back with a draft of the exact same thing. When I asked about other options, it was a comedy of delays, errors, rude employees, total lack of customer service. I won't include all the details but suffice it to say I regret hiring this firm.

Our insurance adjuster hired them for drafting plans in the case of an emergency (a building burnt and we needed the tenants being back to their home ASAP). Not only it took them more than a month to come back to us with a quote, but on top of that their official response is that they did not have the man power for the job. They are not a serious company.
