Riverside Bar and Eatery

I brought a cycling group here for lunch over the August bank holiday weekend (booked in advance). There was a good choice of food, promptly served - everyone in our group seemed to enjoy their selections. I think the vegan in our party only found one option on the menu but luckily she was happy with it. The staff were helpful and friendly, there were sensible Covid-19 precautions with socially-distanced tables inside (if pre-booked) but many of us opted to sit at the outdoor tables by the river. Highly recommended for a lunch or coffee stop. The only downside is the cycle parking: a couple of nasty \wheel-bender\ racks in the corner of the visitor car park where they were vulnerable to reversing cars, hidden behind a hedge so it was difficult to keep an eye on them from your table. I'd urge Lucksall to consider investing in some decent non-damaging racks and a safer, more visible position.
