For years I wanted to paint my mother's old secretary cabinet but it was in need of repairs, and I didn't know how to fix it. My husband and I talked about restoration vs. getting rid of it. Finally, while looking online I found Anthony's Restorations. He took a broken-down old cabinet and brought it to life with repairs and paint, even replacing one of the wooden ball--and-claw feet! We chose the color from a furniture piece on Pinterest but frankly, Anthony's paint job exceeded the paint job in the Pinterest picture! We know that the secretary cabinet's value has greatly increased as a result of his work, and we are extremely pleased with the finished product! Anthony is an excellent artisan, skillful in detail and in understanding what we wanted. Thanks so much, Anthony!!!

He did an awesome job restoring a Lane Cedar Chest. It looks brand new! He was fast and easy to reach! It looks better than we imagined it could.

Anthony refurbished my bedroom dresser and he did an excellent job! He is a true professional, honest and trustworthy. He is also very reasonable. I will always return to only him for any future jobs. Thank you Anthony!

Came across Antony on the internet, and sent him photos of a Victorian chest of drawers from England with water damage to the veneer on the top, cracked side panels, cracked drawer based, and feet that had split. Antony responded with a quote, and came over to collect the piece that afternoon. He sent me updates about the work by phone, including photos, and had the job done in a little over a week. I was impressed at the restoration job he did. While retaining the original materials, the water damage was skillfully resolved, the cracks unobtrusively filled, and the whole piece refinished. I was pleased that Antony did not buff up the brass drawer handles or use a finish that over emphasized the grain. The piece thus retains its both its character and design, and its individual history. Our kids will now likely want the piece when they come to inherit it! Antony charges a price that reflects the quality of his work - and a little bargaining might be necessary when you meet him, but this is good natured! He is a craftsman doing this specialist work at a difficult time so, after seeing the quality of what he’d done, gave him a couple of chairs to work on. That action says it all, really.

Anthony did a wonderful job with my wife’s mini, musical, rocking chair. It is 50 yrs old and was in shabby condition. While Anthony’s shop looks a bit rough, I must say that you can’t judge a book by its cover. He obviously knows his stuff and brought our little air loom back to life. Well done. Thanks.
