First off have to say I am a little grumpy with the place. When I called I knew very little about the place. I ended up calling and asked for a cabin. I mentioned wanted a cabin a few times. After driving for 4 hours find out it was a motel and not in great shape. Found it dishonest leading me to believe I was renting a cabin. Cons: -it’s a motel. All rooms in a row. No space between them in one big “U” -can easily hear kids running in room next door. -door didn’t work work properly. And had towel plugging the deadbolt hole -mold growing on ceiling. -floor was all mushy. Must be rotten. -no privacy when outside. Everyone is all squished in the middle -light bulbs missing in some of lights -floors were dirty. -expensive for quality of room. Pros: -location. Close to downtown. Walking distance to almost everything. -big rooms. -full kitchen. Ok amount dishes. I am not overly picky when camping. Wouldn’t have mind place. Don’t like people being dishonest to me. If I had know was renting motel room would have been happier. It’s ok place if you are desperate for a place at clear lake.
