Used to really love going here. For starters, I called ahead because I knew that there is usually a wait time. When the young lady answered the phone, she asked me to hold, which I typically do not have an issue with. The problem came when she was having a full on conversation with someone in the background, not work related, laughing and having a good time while I waited. I decided to hang up and call back. Again I was asked to hold, but by a male this time. Again with the outside conversation but this time a shorter wait. I ordered two wing baskets and a side of mac and cheese and piece of cornbread. They said they only had a small available which I took. Upon arrival this is the small mac and cheese. How????? This is a ketchup size mac and cheese. Customer service def needs an adjustment.

No longer a destination restaurant. All food is very soggy, especially the fries. The corn fritters were hot. That was a plus. Had to throw out 6 pieces of chicken, flats at that. I was mad. I HAD TO THROW FRIED CHICKEN IN THE GARBAGE! Do you hear me? Just pass on by on your way to your destination.
This place is worth a visit. They serve big portions for fair prices. Always neat and with great atmosphere. Will come visit again.
This is a mom and pop wing spot. I tried the wings with a friend who grew up around here. The chicken was fried well and crispy. Since it was late in the evening I'm assuming it was older oil so that's what gave it a weird taste. It tastes a bit salty. The special sauce is very vinegar based so it's personal preference
Small little unassuming BBQ joint. Take out or eat in. Simple food done right. Flavorful and rich but not greasy or too fatty. They even have a great fried fish sandwich, I had it with lettuce tomato and American cheese with tartar sauce. Support a small business and head on over.
