Overall, I am happy with what Petco has to offer. The staff is great. Very professional and helpful. On my most recent visit there was a very limited selection for cat and dog carriers. The shelves were nearly empty. Everything else seemed to be well stocked.

Brought my dog in for a bath, nail clipping, etc. Kathy the groomer did a wonderful job. My dog looks so clean and fresh. Even though my dog is skittish when her paws are touched Kathy was able to keep her calm and cut her nails. I highly recommend Kathy as a groomer.

I bought a one year old chinchilla from the store 40 days ago. Today he suddenly passed away. During the 40 days we have him enough food and water, even took him out to explore around the room minimum 3 hours a day. From the onset of his discomfort to when he died, it took in less than ONE HOUR, even without a change get him to the emergency. He just lied there on my leg and died in front of me. It is definitely a sudden outbreak which should have hidden symptoms that could be tested out from examination. However, When we bought the chinchilla, the stored said that they have already done an exam for him and they did not find anything wrong with him. When we called the store today, the manager refused to take responsibility for the death saying that it passed the 30 days guarantee. WTH? 40 DAYS is NOT even that much of a difference from 30 days. Right now I’m just feeling so sad and angry of this situation. Since he already passed away there’s no other things can be done. I just hope that everyone know that don’t buy any live animals from here for both your mental and money’s sake!

The employees here are always helpful and the store is clean and well stocked. Never had a problem here.
