If u are a foodstamp user, make sure u DO NOT ring up your food with ur other items. Was in kmart today and rung up food, just food and it came out with a 7 balance. So I returned everything and re.rung up everything again a balance so then took one item off and it went through and then proceded to pay for the item I took off and it finally went through. This place is a scam and tries to make people pay cash for food when they have food stamps. Unbelievable. Last time i EVER go in their.

My friend texted me asking to get mustard, chocolate and Graham crackers. This was the first place that popped into my head thinking that I can grab all three and get going to the BBQ. As soon as I walked in, it was like taking a time warp into the 90s. Now I am not the one to judge on first impressions but when I went to look for mustard, all I found was a sad row of the house brand and no other options. Didn't need 8 varieties but when all you have is yellow and no spicy brown in sight you lose a star. Although not our first choice for mustard, I grabbed one and headed to find the Graham crackers. Well, I found 2 brands this time but both of them had expiration dates months ago. Lose two more starts. It's the start of the grilling and s'mores season and when you strike out on Memorial day it's difficult to consider this place for any future visits or recommend this place to anyone. With limited options out on Eastern Long Island, it seems difficult to screw up providing the basics at reasonable prices but this KMart accomplished that perfectly.
