My family has been using Joe's service for close to 20 years on 2 different homes. Driveways, retaining walls, pathways. He is a perfectionist and a skilled craftsman who shows up on time and completed all work in a timely and professional manner and cleans the area. The quality of the work has stood the test of time and he is an all around nice and honest guy.

First, I would like to say that I have never written a negative review for any company before this. I’ve never felt the need to until now. Visually, Joe’s work is very nice, but that’s as far as it goes. I hired Joe to finish a job that someone else started, didn’t do properly and also didn’t finish. I thought I had nothing to worry about because of Joe’s experience in the business. I was very wrong. I provided Joe with the building plans for my project which clearly showed a footing was required beneath the concrete slab he was going to pour. He failed to put in a footing, which cost me time and money in the completion of my home renovation. When I contacted him to explain that the work was not done as it should have been, he told me he would not be able to help me for several months and on top of that said he would provide me with a quote to do the work he should have done the first time. A couple months before I realized that there was no footing beneath the slab, I noticed soil was washing out from underneath it. When I asked Joe to come back to take a look at it, he simply told me to put soil back under it and place bricks there to support the weight. He saw that part of my house had been framed on top of the slab and mentioned nothing about there being no footing, which was obviously required for such a project. Initially I thought the work he had done was great but after all the trouble he caused me, this rating deserves 0 stars. Anyone still thinking about hiring Joe to do work should have it thouroughly inspected before making any payment.
