One of only two truly great locals I've ever had. A hidden gem for beer lovers with a fridge to rival the best bottle shops, as well as a friendly, communal but very un-cliquey place for a quiet ale, cold lager, cider, or something from the well stocked spirit shelf. Top of the pops.

Small, v. good beers, but hard bench seats. If you can get one of the two armchairs a great place to comfortably work through the varied selection on offer
Take the dog for a walk and sit outside for a beer,lad behind the bar always makes sure that the dog has water. Good selection of drinks
Nice place on the seafront but the beer could have been cooler
