The bread at the beginning was good and we had delicious meals. I ordered one of their special mushroom raviolis and my wife got a fresh cod special with angel hair pasta. We also had great service! We will be back. Thank you!

Really good italian food that my family has enjoyed for years. The bread that comes before your meal is also especially good if you eat there or ask for when you call in.
I went here for my 1 year wedding anniversary and the waitress was very courteous, attentive and kind! The food was absolutely delicious this is a testament to the owner/chef Giovanni really knowing how to do an amazing job from the ambiance to the food and decor! He really made my wife and I really welcomed to his place!! Great job Serena Ristorante!!!! Kudos Giovanni!!!
I'm Italian and Come from a family who is known for their cooking and grew up in the North end where we have a lot of fine Italian restaurants. This pla e Belongs in the North end. Food was excellent and one of the appetizers was a fried meatball made and tasted as if I made them myself. 2 friends recommended this place although they are not Italian and told me it must try Serena's that I was going to love it I didn't believe them but I saw the write-up of the owner and chef and said I would give it a try I am a 100% pleased looking forward to going back !
Visited here on a Yelp suggestion while on company travel, and we were more than happy to have visited. Very cordial staff coupled with a quiet, intimate setting provides a very nice dining experience. Great wine selection with specials that illustrate the chef’s expertise. I selected the manicotti stuffed with scallops and topped with lobster and mushrooms in a decadent vodka-type sauce. Others in my group had the Pollo Parmesan, stuffed Haddock, and Veal Scallopini with zero complaints. We all had a very good experience and would happily visit again next time we’re in the area. Give them a try and you’ll be happy you did...
