Ate here tonight while in the area. Wonderful pub feel, food very good and the owner is very nice. We were happy to support this business during these hard times.

Great local, where the staff know most of these locals on first name terms... Excellent beers, fine gins and always a warm greeting... Oh and really clear and effective covid-29 prevention/protection measures in place.
Thoroughly recommend you put this one in your diary, thank you to Mike, his lovely fiance Lisa who prepared and cooked the tasty food, and to Laura who delivered the food to our table. The newly renovated pub is just fabulous, very cosy and welcoming. We will be returning very soon, great night!
Proper local pub. Excellent choice of real ales and cider as well as 63 different gins! Massive range of bar snacks, including pickled eggs!You'll get a very warm welcome and great service. Very cosy inside; you won't want to leave. Just like village pubs used to be! Don't drive, book a taxi!
Lovely local atmosphere, and a good pub food menu, the burger with pulled pork was delicious. Nice to see new ownership are turning the pub into a great destination pub. Elle a great addition to the customer service when eating lunch here again on the weekend. Much improved in this respect.
