Such incredible food, cooked to perfection. Seasonal menu really well thought out. Great selection of beers too. Service 10/10

Was my first pint in a pub for a very long time. Was picking up an order of Abbeydale Brewery beers so only stopped for one. Seemed really well geared up for social distancing but it was early and relatively empty so hard to tell. Tables were massively spread out and table service was prompt and friendly. And the first pint in a pub was a thing of beauty. ️ (see picture)
The Sunday roast was pleasent but not stunning, better ones can be found nearby. The beer selection is very good, they have some particularly interesting drinks in cans although you'll have to ask as they are not on the menu. They have turned the car park into a large outdoor seating area with well spaced tables and an outside bar. The staff where very friendly. You have to book in advance.
Disappointing experience all round. Odd and senseless service procedures. Zero ambience and a very mediocre Sunday roast which was void of any green vegetables. To top it all on checking my bill I had been charged 1 for a small jug of gravy - a first for me! Much better places to eat Sunday lunch nearby so my advice is save yourself a journey.
Fantastic pub, great atmosphere.
