Suryans (not Surinder) the iyengar teacher is one of the top 3 teachers in Rishikesh. I was recommended of him from another teacher who taught him. I have had over 150 teachers in my life and hands down the best from the lot because of the attention to detail. I was with him everyday for 25 days and these are the results: 1. Opened by back after having a hunchback all my life. 2. Legs are totally toned after explaining the tadassana pose properly. 3. He doesn't shout or scream like other iyengar teachers. 4. He's really and truly humble. He gives 100% of his effort so you better give the same. 5. I have no idea how his classes are not full because he's like a hidden jewel Advice: Come 15 minutes early because Google maps hasn't marked his address properly.

I cannot find words to describe Suryans Thakur teaching.I spend 2 weeks in Rishikesh searching for the right teacher and a good friend suggested him to me.All i can say is that this man made me understand the meaning of Iyenkar yoga.his kindness and high mindedness the same time is all i will remember .thank you Teacher i feel blessed that i met you.love from Greece

I attended the 10 days intensive Iyengar yoga and it was an excellent choice, i got to deepen the knowledge of many asanas learning very specific alignment, the teacher Jaya is brilliant with instructions and at the same time a wonderful person. Highly recommended to anyone that searches for understanding body mechanics, correct movement and sequencing.
I have been in 10 days of iyenger workshop there in between 2nd dec to 11th dec....I may say the teachers are par excellent....My jaykumaran,swami shivabramananda ji,Yogi Rakesh,Mr Shiva were amazing,KNOWLEDGEABLE in their respective field....It was the most KNOWLEDGEABLE experience of my life....Thankyou to nidhi and prabhat for their guidance and nice gesture.....Blessing to all..

I visit OM YOGA in 2011 in rishikesh I am so glade I been there learn a lot did my 200 hour teachers training, team was very good to teach me everything about yoga and I still go there to Improve myself time to time I highly recommend OM YOGA for teacher training. Asharm is very nice peaceful environment Ganga river and surrounded by beautiful mountain. Thanks OM YOGA hope to go again next year
