I would want to support this small-town American company and the seemingly nice people that work there, however the product that we purchased is already broken after little use. I wish that we would have seen these reviews before purchasing. DO NOT make our same mistake. We purchased two commercial washer and dryers for our massage business. We did so to avoid the upkeep that we were finding using standard washers purchased at Lowe’s. It was installed in December, used until COVID shut our business down (mid-March until just recently opening in mid August). The washer door will not close and rubber gaskets inside have broken off of one machine. That’s after 3 months of use. Dealer we purchased through said only parts are under warranty. They can’t do anything if it is a defective machine. Our loss. Called the company directly and said the same thing. No one will take responsibility in giving us a defective machine. We had years of life from the less expensive machines that we purchased from Lowe’s. Again, I warn, do NOT purchase from this company. They will not back their products.

BUYER BEWARE!!! The new Speed Queen washers have electronic features now. They have not perfected it yet. Had to get two service calls already in the few months we’ve owned it due to these failures. It takes days to get service locally and more when they have to order parts in. You don’t expect to have to go to the laundromat after spending 1000 on a machine. We were happy to support a “local” Wisconsin company, but it came back to bite us. Sooooooo disappointed!!!
Don't buy a speed queen. They seem like a great product but the aftermarket support us nonexistent. Mine has been down for two months now under warranty and I can't get Speed Queen or the local company that is supposed to support Speed Queen to do anything even though it's under warranty. I have called more than 10 times and spent hours on the phone trying. I learned that GE has local repair technicians that are paid by GE to service their equipment. A great warranty 'sounds good' but that's all it does for the customer if Speed Queen won't stand behind their product.
I’d give zero stars if I could. We got this machine brand new out of the box and have had issues with it leaking for 18months. We have called speed queen NUMEROUS times and have had 2 different mechanics here’s at least 6 Different times if not more. Speed queen REFUSES to replace this obvious lemon. Our entire laundry room floor is covered in water after doing a load of socks. I’d post pictures but it doesn’t give me the capability on this review. Garbage customer service. Will never purchase a product of theirs again
Do not purchase from SQ. Have a new commercial dryer & the mount for the start button is the worst design - the button pushes through the front panel hole because it's mounted on at best flimsy metal clamps that are almost straight. The mount should be something substantial such as having a nut on EACH side of the metal front panel. Pathetic!
