First time at Newby Hall Gardens! Went specifically to see the herbacious borders and was not disappointed. Was great to see so much colour at this time of the year! Took back lots of inspiration. Well worth a visit.

Happy, immaculate fun place to enjoy woth your family. We came for the Halloween spooky event, which was great fun, really cleverly and thoughtfully designed. The staff were so friendly and kind to my highly excited 'little cherubs' & gardens were beautiful. The children's park as always was in immaculate and just perfect fun for children. Clearly signed and plenty of room. The train was great with a lovely driver, she was so kind to the children. Highly recommended
First visit to Newby, with a 2 for 1 ticket deal. Plenty of parking space, with a huge, enclosed picnic area nearby. Gardens are a reasonable size, so allow a few hours to appreciate them fully. For families there is an amazing kids play area, bear house, boat and train trips. Tropical garden, water garden, rockeries and beautiful flowers. The restaurant sells a good selection of cakes and drinks at a more reasonable price than I anticipated. Will definitely return.
Beautiful grounds, well worth a visit whdn in the area. I found the history of the statue at the front particularly interesting, what a story for a well travelled monument!
Fantastic place. I have taken my son (currently 8) and one of the young lads I look after (extra needs), they have all had a great time. Loads to do from quite walk through the woods to a fantastic child friendly area. Would recommend to all ages and abilities. One of my favourite places to visit. Very friendly staff as well.
