Six of us had a wonderful afternoon tea at Chimes, Ripon, to celebrate our Golden Wedding. From the warm welcome we received on arrival, everything was perfect! We had a small private room which was decorated on a Golden Wedding theme. The table was beautifully set out for us and home made sandwiches, scones (to die for!), flans - fruit and savoury, sausage rolls, cakes were served on 3 large cake stands. Everything was delicious and there was a generous amount of food for everyone of us. The owners were lovely and could not do enough for us. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved our food here!! The toasties served with crisps and salad - a decent serving not 3 leaves like many places was generously served hot and tasty. It was freshly made by staff that are all sooooo nice. It’s like going to a friends to eat. If you’re on a day out or having a visit this is an absolute MUST!! This is from a person who’s very picky! We can’t wait to visit again they’re open everyday except Sunday. Thank you for making our visit so great.

Really nice, upmarket café just near Ripon Cathedral. Beautifully scrummy homemade scones, although our coffees were slow and only arrived after we'd finished our food. Other than that it would have been 5 stars. Worth a visit.
