Amazing hotel. Fantastic staff, rooms and pool. Great family getaway

This hotel was great. The pool is great. Nice temp and the water slide is fast. Consider yourself warned. Very accommodating and very clean during Covid-19. The rooms aren’t cleaned while you’re in them so that’s worth noting. We were in a suite with kids and the curtains on the window don’t go all the way to the floor and a decent amount of light came in. So expect an early morning. The doors between the room and the living area are glass paned French doors so bring something to fix that situation if you don’t want to be able to see through or for light to get through (we did tin foil and tape).
Even with covid closing its amenities, Karrie at the front desk made our stay feel like it was her home and she is a great host. Great WiFi and awesome beds and linen. Showers to die for.
Very nice. Well worth staying in. Laundry takes four loonies, two to wash, two to dry. No bank machine so bring change. Soap available at the desk along with snacks and essentials. They make dinner for the guests a few times a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Breakfast is varied. Scrambled eggs one day French toast the text then little omeletts. The ubiquitous waffle machine of course and some healthy options and fruit. Pretty quiet and attached to an A&W so easy to get a meal if you're in a rig. The UFA is right next door and if you fuel up there you can park large vehicles. There is a pool of course pretty much the same footprint as all the other Canalta Hotels. The only reason this looses a star is because I once stayed in a hotel with a buffet breakfast that had an actual chef on staff. The food here is good. There is variety and the staff are friendly. The rooms are very clean. If you want anything from town do it before 7 because almost everything is closed by then.

Rooms were very nice and clean. Pool is great and so is the work out room. Breakfast buffet was perfect with lots of selection.
