Love love love our lunch with Niven! They offered us a small pack of snack to start with and the “plastic bag” outside is eatable! isn’t that cute and creative! I love how they make everything in a such small portion so I can taste so much delicious food from them! Every single bite they offered is tasty! The bread they offer is such high quality and the wine they recommend for us goes so well with the meal!

The 18-course tasting menu was just divine!! I'll be dreaming about that scallop for ages to come. Service was flawless and the wine selection was excellent. I can't wait to come back.
Great food, cosy ambience, nice service and good price. Among the many star restaurants I've even been, Niven is simply the best.
Let me start off by saying that the food was good. It wasn’t anything spectacular, but it was good. The desserts were honestly rather basic — I’ve had better at non-Michelin star french cafés. We came here on a Groupon, and let me tell you: if we knew that we would be having a THREE AND A HALF HOUR DINNER, we wouldn’t have come. You spend a grand total of about 20 minutes at most eating, and the rest of the time, you sit there waiting. You have no idea ahead of time how long the whole experience is, and you have no idea how many courses are ahead of you. If you’re looking for a dinner date where you sit and talk for hours on end, this is the place to go. But if you want food that goes above and beyond all expectations within a couple hours, skip this place at all costs. Not only was the wait time atrocious, but it could’ve been made bearable if there was some sort of entertainment — perhaps live music of some sort (not uncommon at such spots). But no. All they had was a vague hint of radio playing in the background, making me feel like I was in my doctor’s waiting room for 3.5 hours of my life.
I didn’t take too many pictures because this was SUCH an upscale restaurant. It has the finest quality of locally sourced ingredients and most impeccable service I’ve ever experienced. I don’t eat land animals so they happily made alternative protein dishes for me for the set menu. I only speak English and all the servers swiftly changed to speak English. This is easily my favourite new spot - I just need another job to go there more frequently

Very nice design, very good atmosphere, the dishes were of good quality, but often lacking a wow effect. Explanation were too brief for the dishes and wine. Overall it was okay, but not the best experience we had in the Hague.
Very nice meal the food was technical and delicious and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Wine was great too! Only 4 stars as he restaurant temperature was really cold.. apart from that it was great!
