What a beautiful atmosphere to have dinner outdoors! Even with a little chill in the air their heaters were perfect. We were completely comfortable. As usual the food was exquisite! Highly recommend an evening out at Bernard's!

Very nice place great atmosphere, live music very talented. The bread was home made and heavenly. Tried the hand cut seasoned fries as an appetizer.....perfect! Main course was Beef short ribs and fresh cut vegetables with bok choy. Desert was a whole new level.... chocolate mousse Devine! Highly recommend you stop in and enjoy the fine cuisine.
It is the best restaurant I have been to in CT. I often eat out and love French food. This is by far the best I have ever experienced. Everything was perfect; appetizers, main dishes, desserts and wine list were incredible. The staff is amazing, so kind and friendly. The seating outside was so peaceful and added the experience.. as far as foo, the grilled octopus, tuna tartar, crab cake, short ribs, and salmon were tasty and delicious. I cannot wait to go back again. Highly recommend!

Top-notch fare in a classy atmosphere, this will easily make your Top 5 list for culinary experience and overall enjoyment. The dishes are brilliant combinations of flavors and textures with some of the ingredients even home-grown on premise. Great knowledge, skill and creativity has been put into everything served here and it shows. The dining area is comfortable and spacious, well appointed and even with the live piano player it is quiet enough to whisper in your dates' ear that you love her. Reservations suggested, make them now!
