My husband and I lived in Rickmansworth for two years and were fortunate enough to have The Colne Practice as our surgery. We had a lot of health problems and required regular GP care while in Rickmansworth. I highly recommend The Colne Practice to anyone looking for a Rickmansworth surgery. We were always able to get an emergency appointment on the day that we needed it. All care was excellent by the GPs, Nurses and Phlebotomists. Receptionists were always professional and helpful. We were also extremely impressed at the way nursing and medical notes were read and absorbed before we entered the room for an appointment and that 'joined up care' between the health professionals was evident. Our personal GP was without doubt, the best GP we have ever had - a wonderful mix of people skills and highly competent medical care. We were always followed up for illnesses and medication that required this, and nothing was left to chance. I write this as a recently retired Registered Nurse and would like to thank the Colne Pracitce for all of their care while we were in Rickmasnworth.

Trying to get through by phone but 'call cannot be completed' several times. They don't even allow you to hold. Appalling. I work for another surgery and every call is answered. How do pts cope with this level of service?
Thanks to the reception team and Dr N Yahya for squeezing me and my friend in as emergencies on Monday morning. The service and kindness we received from all the members of the team we both dealt with, was excellent. In a time when to complain is easier than to compliment, we wanted to buck the trend and praise the Colne surgery for its swift actions and the Doctors excellent care and advice. I was sent to a&e and thanks to the letter Dr wrote for me, my wait was not as long as could have been. Thank you from two coughy-wheezy and now getting better ladies :)
Found it always helpful for emergency appointments same day.
I have been on the phone for over an hour trying to make an appointment. I get to 1st in the cue then get disconnected. This is not acceptable.
