This pick-up site sat right behind my late grandmother's house for years. After she passed, I lived in that house. I also did my share of community service (the ones who unload your trash.) My grandmother and the administrator never had a problem. (Imagine living within 50 meters of a dump.) And I never felt belittled helping people with their recycables.
