PFG will not invest in new docks as if population and freight flow won’t increase. There is no insight and vision by the directors and ceo. Eventually the formentioned has to happen but nothing until the drivers pay an incredible expense of time. The main cause for delays is waiting for PFG to do THEIR work after the shipments are unloaded. This goes way beyond counting the freight. This has always been unacceptable by the back bone of commerce, the drivers. Understand this: most drivers can load and unload their freight and most facility personnel cannot drive a big rig. Now at delivery this time dock worker holds on to ppw and linker has to hunt the individual down so I can leave to be late at my next 2 appointments. Many are the folly they themselves oppose. \u003c hypocrite
Part of pfg warehouse and very little parking and they will not start unloading until the night crew finishes up and you need to be in line at the door or you will be late getting unloaded but pretty quick to get unloaded
If you have early appointment you can make it here before 5am opening to grab a door. Check in door B parking was told by a driver to just get here early grab whatever door 27-40.
Myappt time was 11am...arrived 10:30, in Door at 10:40. My load was prepaid so didn’t have to deal with Lumpers. Most doors not bad, but a few a real bare. Empty in less than 2 hours . Not bad...
