I thought this place was super cute. Everything I ordered was great for both appearance and taste. It's like a fun casual lunch experience.

I’m surprised with how low the review is. Everything is good and I had a tomato beef. It has a really thick and rich flavour. I would give it a 4/5
I recommend calling ahead of time to check whether they offer dine-in experience - I had to get take out because there was only an hour remaining before closing, and I am unsure whether they stopped doing dine-in or if I wasn't early enough...so do call ahead. Also, Aberdeen Centre businesses close earlier than the mall and choose operating hours on their whim, so call ahead to see if the restaurant is open. I enjoyed my hot pot very much, despite needing to do some kitchen work to reheat it. There's sufficient portion to split one pot between two people (so the 20 price point is warranted) and the ingredients were varied and of good quality - I especially enjoyed the tofu fish pockets. I recommend the chicken base (#5?) and maybe avoid all the others. I docked stars off not being able to dine-in and for the overly salt, not generous enough portion of fried chicken side dish and dessert which tasted yummy but melted even after I've tried freezing it. I would still revisit, but order only the chicken hot pot to the exclusion of all else.
Worth a try! Very flavourful dishes! Great presentation. Comfortable environment. There’s an opportunity to be better with speed of serving and friendlier service.
Went to try it out this place as it was highly recommended...and I was excited about trying their individual hot pot. Though portions were very accommodating and generous...it just was not up to expectations...ordered a few of their side dishes and it was less then average..tried their drinks too..very original packaging and dunno if it was suppose to be served without no ice when its suppose to be a cold drink...food isn't bad but needs a little spice to excite ppl...lots of room..handicapped accessible...kids friendly...aberdeen mall parking...service is why I gave it 2 stars...really need to train the staff or the one guy working there ...maybe manager...about simple hospitality etiquette...I wish I could give it a better rating...maybe another time but not planning to go back anytime soon...
Got there around 9pm on a Wednesday night, so there was absolutely nobody else there. We had the Mango coconut milk tea, strawberry milk tea, and taro milk tea. We also ordered chicken nuggets and a couple of the minced pork on rice. WHY WAS THIS OUR FIRST TIME HERE??? Everyone liked their drinks, but LOVED their food. It didn't have the cheap, oily taste you get all too commonly in other Richmond restaurants. It tasted like quality ingredients were used to thoughtfully create some good eats. The price is fair. Especially considering the nice ambiance. Everyone in our group agreed Tiny One was a winner and a new go-to spot for us in Richmond.
Surprised by all these negative reviews. Stumbled upon this place tonight and was met with great service, good food, and a cheap bill. We didnt wait at all for a table, and the food came quick. The taste was very authentic and we thought the portion size was perfect.
Good value (for girls) and no wait in the afternoon. Ginger milk was a so good winter drink. Have not tired their bubble tea yet. My pork pot was nice. Friends also like fish pot. Not recommend spicy pot and tomato beef oxtail pot. Does not come with a large size but enough for me.
