The taste was pretty great for the most part but value can be a bit on the pricey side (22 for 4 scallops) and not quite sure what warrants the price as none of the seafood is labelled as sourced out of country. The sauerkraut fish could be more acidic as well. The tofu skins had an intense flavor and was very savory, but delicious. Interestingly, the razor clams were sweeter than the geoduck and at a better price. Overall an enjoyable experience if you don't mind waiting a little bit.
Really tasty king crab and fish. Salads are amazing. Servers are also very friendly and accommodating.
I have read and heard good things about your restaurant \ The Fish Man\. I went last Friday, Feb. 12 at 5:40 pm. We live in Langley and drove into Richmond just to go your restaurant. We were very disappointed with the meal . The food was cold and the fish was sloppy . Seafood fried rice tasted oily and there was little shrimps. Food quality was so bad. Furthermore , the service was very bad . We waited over 40 minutes just to get our menu. This was the worst experience We have has at a restaurant !! The restaurant needs to hire more waiters or waitress and make sure they treat the customers better. The quality of the food needs to improve , especially to be served warm.
The food is great, lots of varieties of fish and ingredients for their fish dish. They also have really great skewers. Price is decent, but those skewers can add up in price. Been going their many times through out the past 2 years. Service is also friendly and quick. Have not had a bad experience so far. As for the covid precautions, their set up is great, really tall clear plastic walls separate the booths.
