Sinjen are excellent builders. I am an architect with 10 years experience that specialises is high-end residential design. I find the team at Sinjen excellent to work with. They are highly capable and passionate about delivering finely crafted buildings. They have the ability to manage the expectations of home owners, the architect and consultants in a concise and collaborative manner. The directors, Alistair Holmes and Tim Nathan, with their diverse and varied experience, lead a strong team which is reflected in the performance of their Project Managers, Foremen, Labourers and Trades. I highly recommend their services to both clients and architects seeking a premium product with a high level of service.

We could not have been happier with our decision to entrust Tim, Alistair and their team with our reno/build. From our initial enquiries all the way through to project completion Sinjen were transparent, responsive and proactive and were a pleasure to work with, helping us realise our vision for a home we absolutely love. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to engage again.
Such a great company to work with. Positive and transparent culture both internally and externally. Highly recommend
We had a great experience working with Sinjen and architects McMahon Nerlich on Polyglot’s office fit out within the heritage Abbotsford Convent site. Sinjen were communicative, responsive and collaborative throughout the process. Recent award nominations for the space are a great testament to the quality and innovation of the end result. The team at Sinjen are professional and a pleasure to work with, thank you!
Sinjen, more like Sinbad! Sinjen built our ‘brand-new’ town house and we moved into it on the 7 September 2018. We had 3 months to upload any defects to their platform called Procare. The Sinjen representative did not come out until 25 Jan 2019 (5 months later). The most prominent defects were the defective bench top that was installed, paint that had been dropped onto the carpet, and the metal cladding which had not been installed. In January 2019, Sinjen attempted to clean the paint on the carpet and used some abrasive chemical that has now burnt the carpet – confirmed by Carpet Call. After the managing director, Tim Nathan, was notified about the defects, he kept referring to them as ‘latent defects’ and that it was not Sinjen’s responsibility. I posed the question ‘how would you feel like buying a brand-new car with a massive scratch on it, and then being told that you need to accept it?’. Until today, no-one has been able to provide a satisfactory answer to this question. Sinjen also attempted to put in the metal cladding and whilst in the process scratched our brand-new Sony Bravia Television that I did not even have the opportunity to turn on and enjoy. Sinjen has refused to rectify the defects, and therefore we are left with no other option to pursue legal action for damages in excess of 10,000. The developer (Wulff Projects) who was responsible for Sinjen carrying out their responsibility under the building contract has liquidated the company – ‘Good Times Ahead Pty Ltd’ that entered into the sales contract. Apparently, Tim Nathan had won ‘Young builder of the year award’, however the credibility of this award should be questioned, and in my opinion should be retracted. Avoid Sinjen at all costs, another shonky builder who is after a short-term gain with no regard for the customer.
Great company to work for!
