Mediocre at best. Korean food is usually tasty but this one is way too “express” for me. Rating could be 3 stars but the owner has some attitude problem. I definitely forgot the flavour but remembered that extra utensils are sold 10 cents. Why? Well, maybe because you don’t comprehend “service”.

I'd give more stars for the food, it was great homestyle cooking, but the customer service I experienced was terrible. All I wanted was at the very least polite service, guy at the counter serving was gruff (understandable, not asking anyone to kowtow) and when my food order was ready , looked me square in the eye and beckoned me with one finger, palm up. (Sure, we're in Canada but in Korean culture, and other East Asian cultures (part of my heritage) beckoning someone palm up (like the 'come here' gesture), is very, very rude. )
Hidden gem. Consistently good quality food at super fair prices. We consistently order this when we can't think of what to make for dinner.
Don't take this place lightly just because it's located in a food court. I've been coming to Seoul express for years, the owners cook with a lot of heart, and manage to produce restaurant quality food despite their location. You can't go wrong with any of their soups, they're bursting with flavours, and great for a cold day. Highly recommend their potato side dish, fried to a crisp and finished off with a sweet honey glaze. Definitely not the best Korean food I've ever eaten in Vancouver, but if you're craving Korean food near Richmond and looking for a quick bite, this is the place to go!

Ordered the ribs combo. Was worried regards the negative reviews. BUT surprised the ribs and sides tasted pretty good. Reasonable price. Would be back. Paid 13 good option for take out dinner. Much cheaper than eaten at restaurants.
