Probably it wasn't my lucky day. I wanna say I like NCIX stores, and most of the time I go to the one on Broadway. I went to Aberdeen NCIX shop to buy Mouse today. I checked availability of chosen mouse at home and went to store. I was surprised, cuz not many items were displayed, and a lot of spots were empty. I asked sales person about my mouse he sad They have it but in a back. I asked him: OK can you show me it, He sad no, I need time to find it. So, I told him I'd pay for the mouse. (but it's already weird, don't you think? do not show customer the item what he is interesting in). After I finished payment, He told me to go to pick up desk, I went to it. I showed the girl my receipt and she sad I'll call you... I stepped away, ... when?... came back to her and ask, when? she went to back and brought mouse to me.... What a *&% I think they hide most of the chip items in storage in order to sell more expensive ones, and attitude wasn't good too. So I never gonna buy anything from this location anymore. The thing is, I like NCIX , it's a shop and I love it, but not the one in Aberdeen center. Thanks

I've bought two complete systems and countless PC components from NCIX. I tend to pick up stuff from NCIX every other week. But I make every effort to buy online and only pickup in store. The walk-in experience at Aberdeen is almost always poor. This must be said. If you need anything at all from them, they will tend to talk down to you (and I'm a fellow PC enthusiast even). I would not send my Mom or Dad there for anything, ever, despite having competitive pricing and good selection.

I was looking for a new laptop and had a few models I was considering. While in the store I was checking out the ones on display. After about 5 mins of looking I was greeted by Scott. I told him the models I had in mind and he gave me feedback on pros and cons for each. Ultimately I went with an Asus which was what I was leaning towards initially, but his recommendation helped with the final decision. It's a great computer and I don't regret the purchase at all.

Staff was very helpful even though the store is busy! Had a wonderful nice shopping experience there.

I've been dealing with NCIX for 6 years more as a necessary evil than anything else, Take any good review you see about NCIX with a grain of salt ...especially 5 star ones! They are known for censoring negative feedback in their forums (they have done it to me so many times I've lost track) so ...when you have next to zero morals why not salt salt internal and external sites with 5 star reviews? The customer service has gotten consistently worse over those years they constantly pull the *surprise the product that had 30 of in stock when you handed over you money is now on "back order" bull**** even though it still shows as "in stock" in the so called real time stock. (I'm dealing with that again as I write this for about the 20th time) RE the comment "If you not Asian..." buddy I couldn't agree more!!! All you have to do is stick your head in the door at any location, the only whites or any other race for that matter that work there are stock boys and disposable types anyone in higher up all Asian in management or near it? You guessed it Asian all the way ...The exception being the half ass bias product review guy on YouTube ...Linus aka "pwnd from day one"

The order system is very messy. I had an inquiry about a pre-built PC that they have. I called in, and the sales rep told me everything's good. He encouraged me to order through the phone instead of online, so I did. He said that he would send me the invoice in 5 minutes, but I waited for 24 hours and they still did not send me the invoice. I called again to ensure that the order is in. They send me the invoice, which was 120 more than the original price, and they put 2 motherboards on it for some reason. I called again to clarify and the got the right invoice and wanted them to make sure they I would get my PC in the Burnaby location. I paid the 50 deposit, and was told that my order will be ready in 3 business days. I called after 4 business days after getting no further info. They told me that the pc is ready and is in Richmond and that the Burnaby location does not have the motherboard. So I am supposed to wait for another 4 business days. I specifically asked for it to ship to Burnaby every time I talk to the sales rep and they all said ok. The online account was never updated so I will never know my order status unless I call them.

They are very helpful, but the problem is that most things seem overpriced too high , so I reccomend searching for parts manually and getting someone to help put it together. Thou NCIX does put ur pc right and ready(watch out for ur warrenty)
