If there was a minus rating, I would give this practice s minus 10. This is undoubtedly the worst group of physicians I have ever dealt with. Due to them overmedicating me, I spent several months hospitalized. My friends found me in a coma and I was at VCU trauma unit for 3 weeks. They immediately took me of all medication. I would NOT recommend this practice to anyone.

AVOID. The level of care and communication from the staff at this practice is THE WORST I have ever experienced. Never have I ever had to hound a doctor's office just to get prescriptions written correctly. Unbelievable that they are still in business.

My first (and last) appointment was with Janlyn Anthony. She was judgemental and abrasive. Gave me a 20 minute lecture about my lifestyle choices and made me feel like I couldn't do any of my own research on the medication she wanted to put me on. Very uncomfortable situation especially for someone with bad anxiety. I don't recommend you see her, or anyone at this practice if at all possible.

Alison Ernest NP refused to treat me based on the medication I was prescribed be previous provider and didn't understand that any psychotropic medication you take everyday is dependency forming. i even told the front desk at Intake what medicine I was prescribed and they said it was fine and I told Alison outright but she insisted on belittling me and doing the entire Intake before telling me she won't treat me, presumably so she can bill my Insurance without having to actually be a nurse. Alison said she refused to treat me based my \insistence\ about taking said medication but when asked about what her treatment plan would be and how it would work she refused to describe it. Also the practice doesnt do DocuSign and makes you print paperwork and pay to mail it. In conclusion, the office is inefficient and uncoordinated, and Alison also demostrated lack of knowledge about common psychiatric medicines and is an insensitive judgemental and rude provider.

I have had no issues with any staff, and I love my P.A. She works with me and listens. And the emergency line is efficient and the nurse on call helped me also.
