Having spent more than 20 years away from Canada, I was justifiably nervous at having to take a road test to convert my foreign drivers' license to a BC one. The long years of driving on the busy streets of various Asian cities meant that my driving style was very different from that of a young Canadian-trained driver. The person at the counter registering me for the road test was courteous and efficient, which put me at ease. The tester, Shaun, was excellent at explaining what the test involved and the standards required. He made me feel comfortable and allowed me to focus on driving. Following the test, he spent a few minutes pointing out the areas I could done better (hesitancy in turning, underhand steering). I was struck by his keen observation, constructive comments and overall sense of professionalism. Taking any test is stressful but the team at ICBC Richmond certainly helped cut the stress to a minimum. Impressive!

Take google reviews seriously. Pathetic service. Staff is very rude. I went there for BCID and lady refused by saying that you already applied for 2 BC id’s ( driving license and service card) so cannot go for 3 rd id. Is this the valid reason to refuse my request? If there would be 0 stars , I would definitely give that. Disappointed.
Thanks to god , i got my class 4 license today. my instructor was cermen. she is very nice and professional examiner. she explained everything very clearly and she made me feel very comfortable taking the test. thank you so much all staff here friendly and helpful too . from:- SHIV 1:25 pm 22 march

I had my Class 7 road test with the examiner (initials SF) on Mar 16 at 9:30, he is a very nice and professional examiner. He explains everything very clearly and he makes me feel very comfortable taking the test. I can't thank you enough to him!
I was skeptical coming here deal to the reviews. But With scheduling of an appointment, everything is smoother and quicker then I expected. The initial employee who greet us at the entrance is very helpful and efficient. The guy works at station #5 this afternoon (I don’t know his name. Ivan maybe) is very, very helpful, informative and well mannered. He knew my parent doesn’t speck fluent English and he explained everything in detail and with patient!!!! I don’t always write review, but just to shut out to those who served us today! We have an pleasant experience and Keep up your good job!!!
I have cleared my Class 5 Driving license road test today and my test examiner was Mr. Dennis. He is very nice and professional examiner. I was very nervous before the exam and my mind was fully relaxed from the time I met Mr. Dennis with his very welcoming introduction. Throughout the exam, he provided clear instructions and calm and peaceful atmosphere for me to drive without any major errors. Thank you sir for your great care to your students with a very positive attitude.
I had my class 5 road test today here with Syde (I am not sure if I spell his name correct-initial SF). Syde made me feel comfortable and even before we begin, he explained well and very clearly. All staffs here are friendly and helpful too!
