Dr. Markowitz is an amazing doctor. He is compassionate, he listens, and he has a lot of experience and it reflects in his work. I had to discontinue seeing him after I moved out of state, but I did travel several hours for months to see him until I could find a new doctor where I lived. It was worth the trip, though. Many well wishes to Dr. Markowitz and the team there at Village Family!! Thanks for all your help. \u003c3

I am a big fan of this place! People that have been going there a while seem to recognize and have chats with each other in the waiting room. I am also a big of my doctor, Dr. Markowitz. He really seems to care about his work, and not try and over prescribe me anything. He really listens to what types of medication has not worked for me, as well as medications that I do not want to try and works with me to find what is best for me.

Absolutely unprofessional office. Had one visit with Dr. Markowitz for my son and for the second visit I called to reschedule. I was told I would be charged a cancellation/no show fee for giving them less than 24 hour notice. I asked to speak to the office manager, Teresa, for this because to be charged a fee to reschedule sounds very different than cancelling or no showing to me. Teresa was VERY dismissive of my statements and told me I would be charged this fee PLUS have to pay my copayment. This is an awful way to run an office and have patients feel as though this office is only out for a buck. I will NOT be returning and WILL let anyone that asks me know about the unprofessional manner in which I was treated.
