Love the Halibut here, light batter and not too greasy. Fresh cut fries, balanced tartar sauce, and a Granville island winter spice ale washed it all down. The paints are nice and the nautical theme is cozy. The service was great as well. Clean and straight forward restaurant. Have been a few times and I'm sure I will go again!

Best fish and chips in Steveston, hands down. Fries definitely still not the same as British chips, but they were cooked perfectly. Fish was a great size as well as being light and fluffy, with very little grease. Mushy peas were also really good. The staff are always so happy and friendly! Choose Dave's.
My first time here was a couple weeks ago. I am usually not a fish person but recently I have been trying to have new things. I ordered two pieces of fish and fries, the fish was very good! Not oily or too breaded, it had a nice crunch. This meal was definitely more than enough and I left satisfied!
Delicious fish and chips in Steveston! Friendly service, generous portions. The fish was battered with just the right amount of batter so it was crisp and not greasy. The new England chowder was okay. I felt it was a tad bit salty but flavourful. Overall, great experience here. Will definitely be back!
Went there for my lunch break last week! The fish was amazing and not too greasy. The Tartar sauce was full of flavor. the guy behind the counter was very nice and talkative, great service. Had to do take out but will hopefully do dine in soon!
