Classic "hole in the wall" meaning it's not great to look at, but you don't come here for the decor, rather the food and prices is hard to beat. So close to the SkyTrain, easy to start my work day with a heart breakfast.

I love places like this. No nonsense and great down to earth food. Breakfast is awesome and the fried chicken is good. I will be back.

Closing for Good on March 31, 2018. Excellent quality at a low price! But 30-60 min waits long waits since so much demand and not enough room for another person to grill the food in time. Owner’s despite their age are very hard working. Good examples for young people to learn from. You don’t need to be genius but you need to put your heart in the food you deliver to your customers. Frank the owner chucks out meat that is burnt and the sandwich maker puts back raw meat on the grill. Very good old style diner atmosphere. Cash or debit only. Very reasonably priced as prices seems like have not changed for a decade! One less quality food diner in Richmond after March 31. Must go if you can catch it before it closes for good!! Caution be prepared to wait like an hour or less if you are lucky . Therefore not a place to go on your timed coffee or lunch break.
Best sub in Vancouver. I've been coming here for over 20 years. Always consistent. The owners are super friendly. I'm sad to see them gone by March. Their super sub is to die for. Their prices are amazing also. They are head and shoulders above all other sandwich shops. Simply amazing.
