Assemble Reviews | Rating 3,6 out of 5 stars (4 reviews)

Assemble is located in Richmond, Australia on 370 Swan St. Assemble is rated 3.6 out of 5 in the category developer in Australia. Assemble formed in 2010 as a real estate development group with the goal of delivering well-designed housing projects in Melbourne. We could see an enormous demand for small footprint living in well-designed apartments that held community and sustainability at its heart. We believe that, through good design, a vertical life can be enriching, engaging and socially responsible. Our combined experience spans property, construction, finance, investment, architecture, asset operations, community management, publishing, communications and advocacy. We believe this makes us a formidable and visionary force within the Australian development scene. One that operates in our current and future residents’ interests, and with ultimate respect for the environment and surrounding community. Our values and ideas find a voice in Assemble Papers, our online and biannual print journal focused on design, architecture, urbanism, the environment and financial matters. Through Assemble Papers and Assemble’s first project in Clifton Hill, we have built a committed following of tens of thousands of Australians who share in our approach and philosophy of an Assemble way of life.

Really sad to see the bad reviews here, especially by folk who haven’t even dealt with the team at assemble. Our experience was AMAZING. First of all, a building and community that has strong values of fairness and sustainability - pretty special in Australia. We dealt with Dani who was super informative and helpful. The contract is set up so that you can opt out at anytime - I thought it was too good to be true but it literally is that good. We had our lawyer look over the contract to confirm. There is also a financial coaching from the beginning until the end of 5 year lease (so 7 years in total). Unfortunately for us - we had to pull out in the last minute. I had to return to uni full time (law degree) so had to reduce working hours. We got our money back straight away and it was super easy and we were even offered a session with the financial coach for free. Thank you assemble for your support (especially Dani)! We hope to one day be part of this amazing experience.

A really great concept I am excited to be a part of, really sad to see the negative reviews from people not part of the project as it doesn't represent what I have experienced or read up on during the process. A great community forward concept with great design, I can't wait to move into my new apartment and be part of the community.

So it seems like a typical developer trying to be all green/hippy/sustainable and about people. Overpriced properties, insanely high rent rates, shocking service. They try to dictate communication methods and hide the truth. I don't understand why anyone with half a brain would sign up to an overly inflated apartment knowingly. Especially not during COVID. It makes no sense. Don't recommend.

Personally, would not recommend this company & also not ethical. ‘Nuff said.
