The ascent track to Mount Duncan itself is well maintained but the road to the Mount Duncan carpark can only be accessed by 4x4. The Tall Trees Walk route from the more accessible Mount Gnomon carpark takes longer than advertised, isn't well maintained in some sections, and the trees aren't as tall as one might hope (maybe once upon a time) but it's nevertheless a picturesque walk through mossy treefern gullies. Walking via the road between carparks (as we did on return) is much quicker and easier going.
