I'm currently a CPS employee I really like this company very friendly staff. guards that really wants to work can make more then 40 hours a week, there's always overtime at this company thanks to those horrible guards that call off at last minute or not show up at all. I really recommend this company if you really willing to work and make money,

Ive been working for CP's for almost a year. Everyone in the office is nice and they try to help you out us much possible. The Supervisor's are really nice and helpful when you need anything or if you have a question. Branch manager Carmen nice and she is fair with everyone!!!!!
Great place to work
First of all I would like to say that this is a great company. I was a supervisor with CPS Security never had a issue with anyone in the company including Carmen which was my branch manager, the people who are on here writing negative things, are the people who didn't do their job. How would they expect to continue being employed by the company after they commit multiple violations. Formerly being in the supervisor role, I already know how it is. You'll always be the bad guy to those people you catch messing around and not doing their job or plain out not showing up to work. Working with CPS is easy money! I don't know how some people mess that up. Overall, the branch staff is great and clearly some of these people are bitter because they can't return to the company.
Recently started working with this company. I had to call off for a few days because my daughter was admitted to the hospital because of her asthma. Despite me calling in to the dispatch and also the office to let them know of my situation. They still won't place me back anywhere. When I spoke with them the first time they told me there was no records of me calling dispatch. Then call a couple of more times throughout the week after my daughter being admitted to the hospital and the woman tells me oh yes we have your call her but it shows you only called off for one day O.o So here we are Today I was on Craigslist as I'm searching for work and I see a ad from them. So I decided to call and see if I would be lied to and I was. I was told by Hector of Hr that he would give me a call back because he was doing payroll. Mind you before I seen this ad all last week and the week before I was constantly calling but getting the same answer. Instead of lying to me just flat out tell me that you guys aren't willing to place me anywhere instead of playing a gambling game with me. These people are uncaring of your situations especially when it comes to your children. I wouldn't recommend no one to this company if you have children that have emergency medical needs. This company is uncaring. And as of a result of you calling off and doing the proper procedure they will not place you anywhere else!!!!
