The Barrel has been reportedly been described as the worst run pub in Rhyl. Well known for fighting and other undesirable activities. It's unfortunate that the landlord allowed this situation to gradually get worse as the years went on. There used to be an ecexcellent atmoatmosp at what was once a popular venue. Unfortunately, The Barrell has lost its licence to sell alcoholic. As a result, The Barrell is now closed permanently.

Fantastic night at the barrel in Rhyl
Try the hull drink! Relatively low ceiling so if you have a friend over 6 ft they will be at risk of hitting their head on wooden beams, but don't let this put you off; you'll be sat down drinking anyway
Good environment , long wait for service though . Still recommend as new management are amazing
Fun entertaining and good bouncers cheap drinks and good laughs
The only thing good about this pub is the hulk and the fluffy duck
Had a great laugh in here, enjoyed it.
