First visit to Rhugg Estate. Found it whilst driving along the A5 en route to Lyn Brenig. Impressive site, it includes a farm shop, cafe and uniquely (at least in my experience), a drive thru!! Bought a few items from the shop and had a Bison burger meal before heading back to Plas yn ial. Delicious. A great place to visit, for a browse, shop or meal.

Working in the local area, paid 16.50 for three sausage and bacon baps. The sausage was in the form of a patty, incredibly dry and not even any butter. For that money and not even the bread was buttered. Had better baps from the hot stand in the spar. Benefit of the doubt we tried again a few weeks later and again terrible. If they were priced at 2 each I wouldn’t complain. You pay for what you get but not in this case.

Now our A5 meeting point before heading off for our adventures or afterwards before home, the drive thru is a bit of a strange feature but worth using when the weather is a little dull. Food is nice and not as expensive as you would think when you see the place and the coffee is better than most high street places. Has a nice spot to park up a motorbike as well so handy for all.

Amazing little find! Great play area for the kids and top quality food. The gift shop is pretty spectacular too. You definitely won't be disappointed. The new drive through has a pretty basic menu but it's what you'd expect for a speedy service and the chocolate croissants are lovely. The kids love the kids meals too and they do great healthy drinks and options too.
