I loved visiting this shop! It features a ton of local artists and designers. They have everything from jewelry to hats, scarves, paintings, woodwork, glass, dishes and wall hangs. The shop is run by the artists, and some even commission personal works.

We love to look for local art when we travel. We often find artist's co-ops to be a great place to hunt local treasures. Rhino is such a gallery. The artists represented are immensely talented. We particularly liked the blown and sculpted glass art. They are primarily a gallery of high quality contemporary art. The prices are moderate - especially for New Orleans. The artists who man the shop make you feel quite welcome and are delighted to talk about their work. From jewelry to paintings, to glass, this is a real New Orleans find.

This place is one of my best travel finds ever! If you adore handmade, one of a kind jewelry you must stop in. There's a wide variety of styles to appeal to different personalities and everything is handcrafted by a local artist. The prices are reasonable and items range from about 30 - over 200. Besides jewelry, I picked up a small painting and there is handcrafted soap and home decor. The woman who helped me was a local artist who was very friendly and recommended a great restaurant. If I could give this place 10 stars I would....check it out!
