Excellent site. Reception greeting very friendly and speaks English well. Showers are excellent. Use token each time (free) and get a good 10 minutes of hot water. Cubicles are huge. Lovely pitches overlooking the lake. Many walking/cycle paths from site and all well marked. Definitely call here again.

We rang these at 7pm last night, 400miles into the drive to Copenhagen, and at last we'd found somewhere to pitch our caravan for the night. The guy on the phone was super helpful, and didn't bat an eye at our late 8pm arrival. When we got there, the Taverna was buzzing with life, and we were quickly checked in and given directions of how to get back out the campsite early in the morning avoiding the Sunday Market which was really helpful. The campsite itself is lovely. Located on a few lakes which as triathletes we were itching to get into if only we didn't have to be on the road so early! The play areas were excellent much to our children's delight. Toilet block was very clean and the showers were really powerful and the perfect temperature! Honestly couldn't ask for anymore for 20 a night, and its definitely somewhere I'd come back to for a longer stay. Thanks Berkenstrand, you were the perfect stop off for sleepy road trippers!

A very nice place to visit, there is a tavern in the front of the park. The area is highly suitable for hiking and bycicle trips.

Fantastisch is het daar vertoeven. Spijtig nu met de covid dat er geen activieteiten meer zijn. Maar dit weekend tot rust gekomen . Lekker gewandeld en chillen. Aanrader
Een gezellig familie camping waar je steeds vriendelijk ontvangen word door de patroon en zijn vrouwtje. Een lach en een zwans is niet ver weg . Een duik in de vijver of eens ontspannen vissen een zaligheid. De kinderen hebben een keuzen uit verschillende speeltuinen en zijn baas op het verkeer .het sanitair is een pareltje qua netheid. Een aanrader voor iedereen die een knus en nette camping zoekt. Je kan er ook voor een lange of korte verblijf camperen
