Busy consignment store that moves children items through with complete turnarounds every season. The store does get full at the start of a season, which just means more of a selection. Near the end, there are excellent markdowns. I've consigned and purchased happily the past 7 years. They have infant to teen sizes as well as maternity clothing, new toys and craft items.

I have never come across a consignment store that keeps such poor records. The owner of the store just writes down the total number of items received without giving a receipt. She prices them however she wants at her own time.. and then gives cash or check without a summary of the items sold.
I love Small Change! I started coming when my son was a baby 26 years ago, and I am now shopping for my granddaughter The quality and price of the clothes is excellent and the owner is super. You can't go wrong shopping at Small Change.
I had a consignment appointment set up here and I told the owner what I was going to bring in advance. She approved everything. However, when I showed up for my appointment with the discussed items, the owner was very rude to my husband and I. She acted like we hadn't discussed anything I brought and just treated us very poorly. To make it worse, both of my kids saw this entire interaction. My husband is a patient man, but I knew when he walked away, it was time for me to walk away too. We took all of our items, thanked her for her time, and left without giving her the option of consigning our items. I will never step foot in that store again. I can't believe how unkind the owner was to my family and I for absolutely no reason.
This is my favorite consignment shop. They always have a full stock, helpful staff, and It adds to the charm of Lake Anne!
