I contracted this service for a simple gutter cleaning for our home in DC. The person who showed up didn’t ask us where our water system was so he ended up “cleaning” the very dirty gutters with the water that remained in them from a recent storm. We weren’t home so did not have the opportunity to review the work. It was shocking when we did. Since he only used the mud water in the gutter to clean them, there was mud and debris all over and I see the gutters. Over the ensuing week it dried. The owner responded promptly by apologizing and sent the same person back to clean again. He did a decent job cleaning one part of the gutters: had to power wash given the caked on mud. But he didn’t finish the job as he didn’t clean the large roof gutter. I called the owner again who promised me he would come in person but instead sent the same man. He was here briefly today and didn’t do much to clean. I am very disappointed in this company and do not recommend them to anyone who wants a careful and honest service.

Used this guy last year to clean out the gutters on my new (tall) house. It was in the middle of a rainy fall season, and everybody was totally booked up and didn't want to know. Very efficient, very responsive, very professional, very reasonably priced. I just emailed him to clean them out again, and he responded same day, w/in the hour! On a Sunday! Update (Fall 2019): Had a lot of trouble getting him back out and doing what I asked. Big waste of time. So, he's not on my list anymore. And, I don't want to mislead anyone, so I have averaged my initial 5 star w/ my current rating. I just used Peg Leg Gutters, which is pretty highly rated by Consumer Checkbook. Peg Leg cleaned and put gutter screens on, no fuss, no muss.
Thorough, conscientious service. Reasonable price.
