Although the owner moved out of state, she is returning to Reston to teach two workshops in October. eMotion became my dance family after dancing with them for 6 years. It was the best 6 years of my life without a doubt. I made friends that I will have for a lifetime and have so many memories, photos and dance videos that make me smile when I see them. Keri created the studio to make everyone feel welcome and dance no matter what their background or experience. If eMotion had stayed here I would have definitely been a life long team member and danced with them until I was 100 years old. Dance fam for life!

I started taking classes at eMotion in February 2012. I’d taken hip hop dance classes growing up and danced on my high school dance team, but I hadn’t been able to make time for dance since college. Keri is an encouraging instructor, and makes sure to push us to our fullest potential. She is very considerate of people’s injuries, and gives us alternative moves for a lower impact. She welcomes questions and input to improve the classes so that we can get the most out of them. The students themselves are very welcoming. We’ve formed an encouraging dance community where we support one another and want to see each other succeed. Not only are the classes fun and the people amazing, but I’ve also lost 13.5 lbs in the 4 months that I’ve been taking classes. Needless to say, I am very glad I found eMotion.
