From the moment you walk through the door, it is obvious this winery/restaurant is elegant and classy. After examining the menu, we were surprised to find it is also not overpriced. Due to covid, they were limited in seating and they did a great job with spacing. Seated tables were spaced out enough and it almost made us feel like we had the place to ourselves. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. If you go, I'd recommend you ask for Jordan E. He had a great sense of humor answering our questions (because it was our first visit) and provided an amazing experience overall! We started with the brussel sprouts appetizer which we would highly recommend. Although everything was delicious, they were our number 2 as far as flavor. The chocolate cake for desert was our number 1. As for wine, we tried the namesake red blend which turned out to be a great choice. The decanter they use when you buy a bottle was such a cool experience. We both ordered the surf and turf and decided to get 4 different items to try the widest variety. We also ordered a side of scallops which we were both glad I did. They were amazing! Due to the experience, we decided to sign up for the monthly wine club, which is our first club we've signed up for. We will definitely be returning more often, it's definitely worth the drive, even from Alexandria. They have a wine and truffle pairing that we are dying to try! You can also pick up truffles to go from the case, which I'm sure we will do during one of our visits.

Ordered curbside pick up during my lunch break and the steak for my salad was left whole but all I had was a plastic knife so I spilled it all over me trying to cut it up in my car. Just seems like the service here is always lacking the polished fine dining part. This salad usually comes with steak cut in a slant and I couldn't replicate it for myself but am expected to I suppose. I had to drive pretty far to eat lunch here so I'm not gonna do that again.
Great food and great service!! My boyfriend got the braised short ribs mac and cheese and it was so good. Filet medallions were excellent as well. Great service! Love the atmosphere as well. A great place for a date!

We had curbside pickup of the Valentine’s Day special from Cooper’s Hawk Reston: a generous cheese board and pretzel bread with butter; parmesan-encrusted lobster tails, two large filet medallions with horseradish crust and jus, broccolini, and mashed potatoes; and for dessert, four huge and scrumptious truffles. Not only was the meal delicious, it was well packaged and promptly and considerately delivered. Precise and easy-to-follow instructions and a set of fun games, among other things, were included. It was obvious that a lot of serious thought was put into every aspect of the meal. Thank you!
