C-AT’s intercom and wireless radio systems are designed for extreme environments such as hazardous, biological and nuclear cleanup, and for personnel operating in armored vehicles, mobile command posts, crewed boats, and aircraft. All C-AT products are engineered without unnecessary feature overload and are priced to meet the strict budget constraints of civilian and military agencies. Highly effective and reliable in field operation, C-AT products are also designed for quick and simple deployment, without requiring specialized training or excessive maintenance. C-AT is headquartered in the high-technology corridor of Reston, Virginia. C-AT Founder and President, Seth Leyman C-AT was founded in 1982 by Seth Leyman, an engineer trained in industrial design, electronics, RF communications and antenna design. As President, Mr. Leyman guides the design and engineering of C-AT’s radio and intercom systems. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Leyman brings his Signal Corps experience and insight to field operations for developing equipment that meets the latest in compliance and user-functionality needs. Mr. Leyman led the design team in the production and certification of the country’s only “intrinsically safe certified radios [for Class 1, Division 1, Group A, B,C, D environments]; this system is used by many municipal and military fire/rescue teams.
